An installation at Assembly Point, Southbank, as part of Beneath the Street: Subterranean Dialogues, with an adhoc arrangement of drawings of lost or abandoned notes. The exhibition explores what exists beneath the visible — hidden systems, ecologies, networks, histories and tensions that shape everyday experience. Moving between surface and depth, the physical and psychological, it considers dialogues between the real and artificial, the tactile and imagined.
It also feature works by Amanda Morgan, Emile Zile, John Warwicker, Karen Ann Donnachie & Andrea (Andy) Simonato, Kate Beynon, David McBurney, Peter Burke and Willow Berzin, plus video highlights from the Image & Media studio at the VCA.
Presented by Design & Production, VCA / University of Melbourne. Supported by the Creative Spaces, City of Melbourne.
Runs until July 29, 2026. Open 24 hours at 152 Sturt Street, Southbank.
